Shit Happens

"What intrigued me the most was the way Ching seemed to manipulate the characters to help each other see through their problems. By the end you really felt for some of the characters and really hated the rest, something I've only seen in very few 3DMM movies." 9.2/10

"By the ending I had lost track of noting any sign of bad direction or animation, and the film was gripping enough for you to be entirely drawn in, by the characters and by the complex narratives that come together neatly." 9/10

"All of the random stupid "Dumb & Dumber" style comedy thrown in made the drama really hard to take seriously. It definitely has a lot of problems, mostly concentrated in the "animation" department, but it's a well put together story, which is rare." 7/10

"If someone's going to remake a Jeff Ching movie in the near future, this has my wholehearted nomination." 6.5/10

"
The scenery is atrocious. The animation is pathetic. The cinematography is horrendous, and the plain of interest is barren. [But] I've got to admit, at the end there, I was really feeling some emotion for the characters, and the movie as a whole." 4.5/10

"
This is not only a step backwards; it's planting your foot on a fucking landmine and watching yourself explode in a million pieces." 3/10

Consensus:
The writing and voice acting may redeem the awful animation, scenery, and direction for you, but there's a hell of a lot to redeem.
