Oh dear. Not a bad idea, but ohh dear. I hate to say this, but
this wasn't good. At all. My main problem with this is despite
an interesting plot, the really short runtime leaves the story
no time at all to develop. OK, let's get into what was actually
pretty good. The general idea of a story was decent enough. It's
about a 'newbie' who walks into the 3DMM community, only to be
laughed at and smacked around with. The latter is a tiny bit too
extreme, but hey, we can all vaguely associate with this.
And then the horrible amount of bad points creep in. I really
don't want to go on explaining every single bit, but I'll cut
Bown some slack. After all, he is an amateur at using 3DMM, and
animations and the scenery should not count against him so much.
He really does have the potential to direct a decent movie and
he should be encouraged to do so. But I can't just help shaking
my head at the incredibly tiny amount of time. It could have
been so much better, you know? We could have had a lengthy
in-depth drama, but instead, we get a short, rather lazy piece
of work. And one more thing, the ending was too extreme and
over-the-top.
